Learn the basics of knitting, or review if you're self or book taught.

We'll start at the very beginning, with casting on, and then learn to knit, purl, and bind off. Depending on how quickly the class learns, we'll also learn ribbing and shaping if there's time. We will also discuss basics of yarn weight, different needle types, other important tools, gauge, and how to use a basic pattern.

If you're not a complete beginner, feel free to come and review, help people learn, or bring questions- I'll address more advanced technique questions if time permits or if there are few beginners.

Bring knitting needles approx size 8 and worsted weight yarn, if you have them- I will bring a few extra needles and scrap yarn that people can practice with during class.
