An intro to the world of needle felting fun!

We will discuss making a flat piece of needle felted fabric, needle felting onto knit or commercial fabric, and 3D needle felted critters.

I will demo the flat needle felting methods while the 3D techniques will be hands on. We will make and decorate a ball- you can use it to make a tree ornament, Easter egg, or just use it to try out the techniques.

I will bring fiber scraps and felting needles for people to try out, however, if you have any felting needles or fiber you'd like to play with please bring them.

If you'd like to try the flat needle felting as I demo it, bring a 2 inch thick styrofoam block and knit swatches or fabric scraps.

You may also bring scraps of fun yarns if you'd like to use them to  embellish your ball.
