Vendors

Due to low vendor-pass turnout this year, we're rethinking the way we'll do vending this year.

First of all, we've gotten rid of the vendor pass.

Second, we're allowing any attendee to sell their fiber and fabric-related wares in the most organic, community-created way possible.

Here's how it works:

!) Buy a ticket -- one-day, weekend pass, whatever works best for your schedule

2) Bring your saleable goods -- select your best, because there's no guarantee of specific amounts of space, and it's best to be mobile without having to make multiple trips.

3) Claim your space: any schedule-able room is fair game for workshops or vending. If you want to vend in a particular time slot, find an unused room on the schedule board and post it up. Other vendors may join you too!

4) Set up your vendor space at the time and place you selected.

5) Sell your stuff! You will be responsible for bringing change, credit-card processing equipment, etc.

6) When the session is done, pack up your wares and head out -- to a workshop, lunch, or the next vendor space.

There is no guarantee of lockable space for vendors to leave their stuff, so please make sure you have a reasonable, portable amount of stuff and somewhere secure to keep it overnight if you plan to be vending both days.

Thanks and best of luck!

If you're planning on coming to vend, please comment to this page and let us know what you're going to bring!

Hi
I'm an indie dyer and was wondering about being a vendor. Do you have some information I could get? Thanks. Suzanne

Well, I'm going to come and vend my new 52 Pickup books and kits, and probably a couple of other standalone patterns. Sorry, I don't have stock of Extreme Double-Knitting to sell ...
