HOW TO HELP OUT

Page history last edited by Guido Stein 14 years, 3 months ago

At this event everyone is an organizer and can make this event better. The organizers will be posting the things that they could use a hand with prior to the event here. Please feel free to add your name to a task notifying us that you plan on taking on that role.

Promote

Please help out by posting the color flier in your local yarn shop and leaving some black and white fliers for people to take. Please cross off below when a store has been taken care of:

bwflyer.pdf (cut into three pieces to hand out)

FCBpageflyer.pdf (print out in color and hang up in stores you think will like it)

  • Mind's Eye Yarns
  • Windsor Button [12/15]
  • Boston Handmade Downtown [12/16]
  • Dorchester Stitch House [12/18]
  • Island Yarn
  • Newbury Yarns
  • Knittin' Kitten
  • Wild and Wooly
  • Porter Square Books

Sponsor

If you have a contact at a company that would be interested in sponsoring this event, please send them our Sponsor.pdf

Registration

The registration desk will need to be staffed for the entirety of Saturday, Jan 9, and probably just the first half of Sunday, Jan 10. If you are willing to give an hour or two of your time, please email Alasdair to get a time slot and be briefed on responsibilities. Aside from the morning rush these shifts will likely be relatively laid-back, and you will be free to catch up on your project(s) between checking in attendees.
