An interactive class to learn how to photograph your finished knits (or crochet or weavings..whatever) on people. Part demonstration/talk and mostly hands on, we'll model for each other and learn how to capture the feel of fiber, visually.
Bring a camera to class, dslr or point & shoot is fine but you must know how to control the camera . Remember, if you want to make great images, it's not the camera, it's what you do with it!
The weather and amount of light in the teaching space will affect what we can do, but no matter, you'll learn some tips & techniques used for professional photograpy of real people, easily translatable to your blog/website/Ravelry page.
This is on the schedule for Saturday at 12:45 .

wow, do I need this class! I'm a terrible photographer with an even worse camera - we're not doing each other any favors!

I am really excited abut this class. Even if I just learn what doesn't work well it would be a huge help. There are some ravelers that I continually visit their projects and realize that it is usually because they have great photos versus projects that I am interested in.

Gale, I enjoyed your session tremedously!
Next day I begged my DIL to model a few items for me and had great fun trying out your tips and techniques.
