Easier Socks with the Strong Heel

Page history last edited by Aaron Clark 2 years, 4 months ago

Full Description

I love knitting socks, but hate picking up stitches for the heel. This is my favorite heel because of its simplicity, requiring no picking up. Presentation will include hands-on possibilities for those who bring their projects

Skills Needed

Basic circular knitting skills

Materials Needed

If you have a sock project that's ready for the heel, bring it!  Or if you'd like to practice on a sample, cast on using your favorite circular technique, knit a few rounds, and bring that.

Click here for the instruction sheet I handed out.

I'm in for this one. I prefer toe-up socks but hey, new thing!
