Machine sewing knits

NOTE: Thank you to everyone who has responded in the comments.  Unfortunately due to travel constraints I will be unable to run this workshop.  Thank you for your understanding!

Knitwear both fine and bulky can easily be pieces together on a home sewing machine using the right settings.  Learn to piece together finished knits using a sewing machine, as well as cropping and steeking cut knit fabric using a serger.

Familiarity with a sewing machine is helpful, as this is not a beginning sewing class.  However the techniques are not difficult, so if you have any experience threading and using a machine you will likely be comfortable.  Specific apparel experience is not required.

Please bring something knit that you would like to sew and if you have a home machine you would like to practice on, please bring that as well, equipped with thread in both the needle and the bobbin.  Ecoutrements like scissors and pins are also helpful.  There will be one (1) practice machine and one (1) serger available for demonstration.
